Job PurposeAs a key member of the College Management Group providing HR leadership and support through highly effective strategic business partnering, providing specialist advice with responsibility for up to 4 staff, and oversight of 5 Schools and a Research Institute which is jointly lead with the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences.
Lead the College HR team in positioning human resources and provide a strategic HR business-focused, high quality professional service to support the delivery of College strategy, policy and operational plans reflecting an integrated, proactive, solutions-focused approach aligned with University strategy.
Provide specialist professional HR advice and guidance conducive with and in support of College strategic goals and imperatives that demonstrates best practice and strives for continuous improvement.
Lead the translation of strategic priorities, working with the VP/Head of College and the Director of College Professional Services, to support organisational change and implement effective HR policies and projects to enable the College to deliver business critical objectives, specifically leading on employee engagement initiatives.
Proactively contribute as a member of the University’s senior HR team in the development and delivery of HR strategy and policy across the University.
Standard Terms & ConditionsSalary will be on the Management, Professional and Administrative Grade, level 9, £50,618 - £56,950 per annum.
New entrants to the University will be required to serve a probationary period of 6 months.
