The School of Art, Design and Architecture is offering an exciting opportunity for two enthusiastic and proactive research assistants, to work in supporting the diverse range of research activity across the school. Areas of research range from environmental building to fine art, from media arts to design.
As a member of the team, you will be responsible for the delivery of research support to designated projects (particularly funding applications), supporting duties related to basic research, including literature and database searches and providing research support (including elements relating to REF) to academic colleagues.
You will have experience of research methods and techniques, be able to work both independently and as part of a team. You will be experienced in a range of research support activities and have an understanding of practice-based research. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to analyse, interpret and present results.
There are 2 posts at 0.6 FTE – 22.2 hours per week on a Fixed Term basis until 31/7/18.
