Location: Park Campus, OtherThe Faculty of Business and Law (FBL) is seeking to appoint an innovative specialist in financial accounting with expertise in financial reporting, audit and/or compliance to join the Accounting and Finance subject group. This appointment is to support growth in both onsite and offsite delivery.
The subject group’s portfolio currently includes undergraduate programmes in Accounting & Finance and Banking & Financial Planning. Postgraduate programmes in Accounting & Finance, Corporate Governance and International Banking & Finance contribute significantly to the subject group’s profile. In addition to onsite delivery, many of the group’s programmes and modules are offered through franchise and other Education with Others arrangements in the UK and internationally. It is highly likely that this post will involve collaboration with international partners and/or international travel.
A Master’s qualification in a relevant discipline is essential, whilst relevant industry experience is welcomed. Experience of module leadership, distance and blended learning and learning technologies is essential. The successful candidate will have a track record of teaching in Higher Education in this subject area and experience of facilitating technology enhanced learning. This post requires excellent communication and organisational skills, and a genuine commitment to continually improving the student experience.
