About the role:
The Department of Education and Social Care, located in the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Education, works closely with our regional partners to deliver excellence in Social Work education. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Practice Learning Tutor to work with our Social Work Practice Learning Team. We deliver both undergraduate and postgraduate Social Work courses as well as post-qualifying CPD.
In this role you’ll develop the profile of Social Work through engagement with relevant stakeholders, contribute to teaching on qualifying and post-qualifying social work courses and develop your own specialisms by research or other scholarly activity.
As a social worker who is HCPC registered, you’ll have a Higher Degree. It is expected that you’ll have experience of supporting Social Work students in practice and the associated knowledge of quality assurance around practice learning. We particularly welcome applications from those who have been recently engaged in practice.
