This new full-time post is available from 1st January 2018 on a 3 year fixed term basis.

We are pleased to offer an outstanding opportunity for a Project Manager to join the lively and growing team in the Centre for Research in Ageing and Cognitive Health http://psychology.exeter.ac.uk/reach/. This post, part of our Alzheimer’s Society Centre of Excellence, is funded for five years with funding in years 4 – 5 conditional on successful review in year 3.
The successful applicant will be a key member of the team conducting the IDEAL-2 research programme, a major, five-year programme centred on the long-term follow-up of the IDEAL cohort of people with dementia and their family carers, and including additional work-streams focused on the inclusion of diverse voices and perspectives. The project manager will contribute to the scientific development of the programme and ensure that project targets and objectives are met effectively, on time and within budget.
To apply for this post you must be educated to PhD level, with experience in managing all aspects of significant externally-funded research projects, sound understanding of statistical data analyses with large data sets, and excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. Specific experience with psychosocial or applied health research in dementia would be an advantage. Please see the job description and person specification for further details.
