This is an exciting opportunity to join the Commercial Services team, which is responsible for the delivery of a range of services across campus to enhance the student, staff and visitor experience.

Do you have the creative flair to develop an exciting student activities programme of promotions and events, encouraging residential students to make use of their local restaurant, which inspiring a large team of catering assistants?

To be successful you will need:
- Ability to lead, motivate, train and develop your teams to go beyond customer expectations.
- Clear understanding and knowledge of stock and margin control within a catering environment, as well as budgets and P&L accounts.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Ability to perform well under pressure.
- A flair for food innovation and driving positive change.
- Knowledge of Food Safety and Health & Safety legislation.
- Excellent attention to detail.
The Hub is a popular food hall style self-service restaurant for students, staff and guests during term time also with a coffee shop and creative space. During the vacations the role focuses on large conferences, language schools and events; conference and banqueting experience would be beneficial.
The ideal candidate must be motivated by people; your team, your customers and key stakeholders in the university. You will be expected to lead your teams in driving the business forward and delivering the best to our customers, ensuring the highest quality service and standards.
A passion for training and supporting other members of the team, enabling them to develop is key, with the ability to chair regular team meetings and hold annual appraisals, job chats and one to ones.
You must have excellent business acumen including P&L knowledge with experience of working to set targets and assisting with budget setting.
This is a full time position and is available immediately.
This post is available in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
