The Senior Philanthropy Manager will successfully manage a diverse portfolio of existing and potential funders, in order to grow philanthropic income to support the mission and delivery of the University's strategic priorities. You will work closely with the Executive Head and Deputy Head of Philanthropy, to shape, support and deliver on the Development & Alumni Relations Office (DARO) strategy.
Success in this role will require a track record of managing and stewarding a portfolio of major gifts prospects at the 5 figure level or more, and in supporting others in their solicitations. Your previous experience of working in a large, complex and diverse organisation with senior internal and external stakeholders will be helpful as is your strong interpersonal skills, and articulate and confident manner. You are self motivated, enjoy achieving ambitious targets working individually or as a team member, and enjoy identifying and converting opportunities into philanthropic gifts.
