Available until 31 August 2020 this position offers a unique opportunity to work in an academic, clinical and industry collaboration. The post holder will utilise a combination of technologies and methods to analyse genomic information from cancer specimens, including tissue and circulating biomarkers, in the context of a collaborative project between the Northern Ireland Molecular Pathology Laboratory (NIMPL) at Queen’s University Belfast and RANDOX.

Responsible for the day-to-day management of the project, including sample processing, genomic analysis using a combination of next-generation sequencing technologies (NGS), digital-droplet PCR (ddPCR) and Randox’s proprietary technology for the analysis of mutations in tissue and plasma.
