Collaborative. Innovative. Focussed. This is an opportunity to work as part of an innovative and dynamic team, operating at the leading edge of Patient and Public Involvement in health and social care education and research. Often working in partnership with stakeholders from both within and outside of the Faculty, you will undertake a range of research activities including the development of research proposals, data analysis as well as writing for publication and dissemination of research outputs including presenting at conferences. The post may also involve some teaching.
The Person
Keen to make the most of the opportunity to develop your own research interests and skills, you will have experience of health and social care research and an active interest in patient and public involvement. Highly organised and efficient with sound IT skills, you will have post graduate qualification in evidence-based health care, psychology, sociology, social research methods, nursing or allied health; together with knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods.You’ll add to this the ability to communicate comfortably and clearly with people from a wide range of backgrounds. A health or social care professional qualification would be highly desirable.
