GCU London is currently looking to recruit occasional lecturers to join the Business and Management Academic Team across a number of Programmes.
The main purpose of the role is to contribute to the delivery of teaching and the learning experience here at GCU London. You will provide teaching support on behalf of the Programme leaders for a suite of programmes, currently delivered here at GCU London. While supporting student achievement and the student experience. You will undertake teaching on programmes while taking into account the implementation of the University strategy for enhancing the student experience, including the enrichment of teaching and learning by research.
You should be flexible and be available to work across of 1-2 days per week over a 12 week trimester, with trimesters commencing on 25th September 2017 and 22 January 2018. Some evening work may also be available. Applicants will be engaged on a flexible basis and will be paid competitive rates per hour.
You should have a Degree in a subject aligned to the GCU London Portfolio, Experience in a teaching role delivering learning and teaching ideally within the Higher Education sector.
You should have the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently at all levels possessing excellent communication skills with individuals and groups. You should have a high degree of motivation and ability to organise and self-manage tasks and teaching activities.
