Salary: £32,548 - £35,550 pa with potential to progress to £38,833 by annual increments on achieving designated skills and experience

Grade: UH7

FTE: Full time position working 37 hours per week (1.0 FTE)

Duration of Contract: Fixed term until 07 June 2019

As one of the country’s largest providers of health and social work education, the School of Health and Social Work runs a wide variety of different programmes, both on and off campus, in the classroom and via distance learning. We offer our students excellent learning and teaching facilities and are proud of our reputation for developing technically competent, practice-focused professionals.

We are now seeking an expert Educational Technologist to join the existing Educational Technology Team in providing a high quality service to the students and staff of the School. You would be joining a team known for delivering first-class resources to enhance student learning and for giving expert guidance in the use of our virtual learning environment and various learning technologies.

The team also provide support to staff and students on the BSc (Hons) Nursing Learning Disabilities programme which is currently delivered at our off campus Study Centres in Southampton and Oxford. Occasional travel may therefore be necessary.

The successful candidate will have a good relevant degree, be an excellent communicator and have proven expertise in the use of learning technologies, the development of e-learning resources and the use of virtual learning platforms.
