The Access and Widening Participation Office delivers activities to encourage applications from students who come from socio-economic backgrounds currently under-represented in higher education. This role sits within our Post-16 Team, which is responsible for planning and delivering widening access and retention activity with tertiary-level students.
As a key member of the Post-16 team, the post-holder will be responsible for the development and implementation of an exciting new initiative that will allow prospective students from underrepresented backgrounds to receive an alternative offer of entry, if they complete an assessed piece of work to the required standard. The post holder will work closely with the Access Manager (Post-16) and with a wide range of professional and academic departments across UCL to develop and implement a robust and evidence based alternative offer scheme.

This post is available for 12 months in the first instance.
The successful candidate will have experience of managing complex projects and developing and implementing new initiatives. Excellent project management, communication, and customer service skills are essential. Experience of writing and presenting workshops, lessons or presentations would be desirable.
