Temporary, fixed-term, maternity leave cover (seven month)

Richmond, The American International University in London, is seeking to recruit a high calibre Assistant Professor of Communications to join our faculty team in Richmond’s School of Communication, Arts and Social Sciences. This is a fixed term, seven month, maternity cover appointment, starting on 30 October 2017 and ending on 29 May 2017.

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

  • PhD in Communications, Sociology or Cultural Studies.
  • A record of relevant teaching experience and academic advising in higher education, preferably in both UK and US systems.
  • Research/teaching specialisms in the Sociology of Mass Communications and Social Science/Communications Research Methods.
  • Experience of supervising undergraduate dissertations.
