Variable Hours contract

We are recruiting nurse facilitators to co-deliver a group self-management intervention in community venues, alongside a trained facilitator who has personal experience of long-term pain and opioid reduction. The study aims to test the effectiveness and cost effectiveness of a patient-centred self-management group intervention, comparing withdrawal of strong opioids for people with non-malignant pain, with best usual care.

Successful applicants will be trained to deliver the intervention, which comprises a three-day group programme, two one-to-one tapering consultations and two follow-up telephone consultations with each participant.

You will be able to state on your application which parts of which region you are prepared to travel to and work in.

Closing date for the MIDLANDS: 18th September 2017
