This post represents an exciting opportunity for an individual to join a team of staff in Keele University’s Faculty of Natural Sciences. 

The School of Psychology is going through a period of sustained growth across both our programmes in Psychology and in Counselling. We have recruited several new academic staff in the past few years and have plans to recruit more. We welcome applications from experienced counselling practitioners, who have an understanding of and experience of working within the person-centred approach. Candidates will be expected to have completed their MSc and to be accredited by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and/or the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) or equivalent. Experience of teaching person-centred counselling at FE or HE level is desirable.

The successful applicants will be expected to contribute to teaching at Masters Level and to undertake the administrative responsibilities associated with the role. The post is located within the School of Psychology on the main campus of the University.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic and thriving School of Psychology which has an excellent research and teaching infrastructure, and a strong commitment and track record in providing high quality educational programmes. There are excellent teaching and research facilities.
