We are currently recruiting for a motivated and proactive Systems Librarian.
The purpose of the post is to manage Library systems, ensuring the systems reach their optimum for supporting Library users and staff. The post holder will play a key role in implementing innovation and change within their area of responsibility ensuring that services delivered are flexible, user-focused, and at the leading edge of best practice within the profession.
The successful candidate will need to be educated to degree level in a relevant subject (librarianship, information science, computing), and having a CILIP accredited postgraduate library and information qualification would be advantageous.
You will need to have experience of managing complex library systems including system updates and upgrades.
There will be occasional working on Saturday Open Days and Saturday Applicant Visit Days, and also occasional evening working by prior arrangement.
