Applicants are invited to apply for a Research Associate position in an EU-funded project investigating the use of clonidne for sedation in children requiring intensive care. The post-holder will be responsible for interim and final analysis of the PKPD aspects of the study. Interim PKPD analyses are planned in this double blind RCT. A system has been devised to maintain blinding of the PKPD analyst for this. The applicant will also be responsible for managing data for the statistical analysis at study closure. An active role in the research and teaching activities of the UCL pharmacometrics group alongside this project is strongly encouraged.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. (or be close to submission) in Pharmacometrics or a related subject. Experience of non-linear mixed effects modelling is essential, and a good working knowledge of R would be advantageous.
