Hours: Monday to Friday 2pm - 10pm
St Cross College is seeking to appoint a Porter who will be based in the Lodge, located at the College's main entrance. The Lodge staff provide a reception and security service for the College and it needs to be run with courtesy and efficiency at all times providing security, information and support to students, academics, staff and visitors. Lodge staff act as the first point of call for out of hours emergencies such as fire alarms, threats and medical emergencies, and incidents.
The Porter will be required to train and obtain accreditation in relation to SIA Door Supervisor and control of CCTV systems and to participate in a First Aid course which will enable them to provide First Aid promptly should an occasion arise.

This is a permanent position offered on a full-time basis of 36.5 hours a week. Working hours will be 2pm - 10pm Monday to Friday. Benefits include a holiday entitlement of 30 days per year (plus 8 bank holidays), and inclusion in the University's pension scheme.
