The Department of Clinical Sciences provides a collegiate and collaborative environment for the conduct of nationally and internationally relevant research examining contemporary issues aligned with the College Research Centres and University Research Institutes.

The Division of Occupational Therapy and Community Nursing, located in the Department of Clinical Sciences, is looking to recruit a Lecturer in Occupational Therapy. We are seeking applications from enthusiastic academics with excellent research profiles that will enhance the reputation of the Division through research, world class academic publications and effective student engagement in learning.

Applicants will hold or be near completion of a PhD; and should have a research profile as such that their area of expertise should align to a Theme in the Institute of Environment, Health and Societies. Brunel University London is a research intensive University, therefore the successful applicant will be expected to produce high quality research and gain external research grants that contribute to the research profile of the Division. They will also have experience of teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

The successful applicant will be a registered Occupational Therapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or international equivalent.

An essential requirement is for the successful applicant to satisfy the requirements of checks by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS).
