An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the administration team in the School of Art & Design. The role is based in the Fashion Management Marketing & Communication (FMMC) subject area, for which the team provide a frontline administrative service to students, staff and other key stakeholders. The role requires an ability to coordinate, manage and align administrative activities across a range of undergraduate degree courses.

As a Subject Coordinator you will be leading and developing a team of administration staff members that are involved with all aspects of course administration including quality assurance, student inductions, assessments, Boards of Examiners and all other activities associated with academic administration and the student lifecycle. You will be working with students, external clients, staff and other members of the College administration team so effective interpersonal skills in addition to excellent written and oral communication skills are essential. In addition, you will work closely with the School Administration Manager to manage and improve business processes ensuring that a professional level of service is offered to a range of end users. 

The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, will be solution focused and will be able to competently prioritise both their own and team workloads. The post requires an ability to respond positively to change, tackling challenges with enthusiasm and sometimes resilience and to be effective whilst working in a fast-paced environment. Well-developed organisation, influencing/negotiating and administrative skills are essential.
