Detail information about job Programme Officer (BScs). Terms and conditions vacancy

Join one of the world’s top medical schools as Programme Officer, supporting the education of tomorrow’s doctors and scientists.

Imperial College London’s Faculty of Medicine is one of the world’s top medical schools at one of the world’s most-respected universities. At the forefront of medical education, your work here will help create the next generation of doctors and scientists—benefiting patients and populations globally.

As Programme Officer, you’ll be responsible for administering the planning and delivery of all operational aspects of the BSc year. You’ll also support the Programme Manager in identifying, planning and implementing opportunities for improvement of existing administrative mechanisms, developing solutions and implementing approved changes.

Working closely with the Programme Manager, Head of Year and key academic leads, you’ll provide the administrative support for the development and delivery of all aspects of the year. You’ll ensure that students are well supported, providing high quality, timely information and responding to queries in a professional but approachable manner. You’ll also support integration across the programme, including educational initiatives and the development and review of the curriculum and assessments pertaining to the year.

You must be educated to A Level or equivalent, have a high level of computer literacy, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Whilst experience of working in higher education is welcome, we are more interested in your skills and attitudes.  Experience in a customer-focused environment would be desirable.

You’ll be based in the Faculty Education Office, supporting academics and clinicians to deliver an outstanding medical and biosciences education. We coordinate the student journey from admission to graduation, providing first-line services to students, supporting strategy and policy development, financial management, communications, governance and quality.
