The School of Healthcare Sciences is looking to recruit lecturers with expertise in the following area:

  • Adult Nursing

The School of Healthcare Sciences provides a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate education that directly improves health outcomes and healthcare for patients and families. This includes courses and research in Midwifery; Nursing (Adult, Child and Mental Health); Occupational Therapy; Physiotherapy; Clinical Photography; Perioperative Practice; and, Radiography (diagnostic and therapy)

We are looking for outstanding candidates in the area listed above and have two full-time positions available.

Candidates should have a high quality clinical practice based publications, a passion for student focussed innovative teaching and possess or be working towards a relevant Masters or PhD degree.

Successful candidates will be employed on the University Teaching and Scholarship career pathway. All candidates must have current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

Candidates appointed at Grade 6 will be required, as part of their probation to undertake PGCE – an NMC recognised programme of staff development in the area of teaching, learning and assessment.

This post is open-ended and full-time (35 hours per week) 

Salary: £32,548 - £38,833 per annum, pro rata for hours worked if part-time (Grade 6)

£41,212 - £47,722 per annum, pro rata for hours worked if part-time (Grade 7)
