This role sits within the International Office in Lincoln and a key aim of this department is to deliver international student recruitment numbers to the University and international fee income as per the agreed target and in support of the University’s Strategic Plan 2016-21. The role will manage regional offices in China and a Chinese administrator in U.K.

The post-holder will have specific responsibility for recruitment from China, with an extended remit for Hong Kong and Taiwan and UK China recruitment, travelling to allocated markets within that region.

Specifically this role will provide a dedicated approach to the following:-

• Managing the China Offices, spending approximately 3 months at key times in the recruitment cycle based in Beijing in order to manage the China Office activities, support growth of direct and agent enrolments and support Study Group to enhance numbers
• Setting targets for the China Regional Offices and setting itineraries for recruitment activities and marketing campaigns
• Management of the China agent network
• Monitoring competitor activity and seeking innovative ways to increase numbers
• Developing and implementing recruitment plans for international markets with the objective of increasing student numbers and meeting targets
• Reviewing the existing recruitment activities to assess their effectiveness
• Supporting market brand development
