This is a fixed term post for an experienced equality practitioner with experience of delivering strategic equality objectives in a higher education setting. The successful individual will have experience of leading on equality at strategic level to fulfil corporate governance obligations in the area of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. The post holder will provide a lead role on implementing and monitoring compliance with the University’s Strategic Equality Plan during this period in addition to providing comprehensive advice on complex equality issues and delegating and overseeing the work to be carried out by the Assurance Officers on equality, diversity and inclusion, supporting the development of these roles. This is an interim role to provide support to the University during a transitional period.

This position is a part-time position, (0.5FTE / 17.5 hours per week) and fixed-term for 3 months.

Salary: £32,548 - £38,833 per annum, pro-rata for hours worked (Grade 6)
