Under new management the Union is making great strides to improving its presence on campus, which includes moving into a new space on campus that will allow us to be more student-facing, and ensuring the Union is a sustainable and effective organisation.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Research and Projects Coordinator to join our Membership Services team. The role will also lead on the support and delivery of Union Campaigns, working closely with elected Officers to identify key areas for seeking change at the institution. They will also play a key role in the Unions research work, developing our use of insight to inform and develop our decision making processes, along with coordinating key project delivery in a range of areas.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and experience delivering creative campaigns to a diverse audience; have knowledge of the Higher Education sector and the issues currently affecting students; experience of supporting and managing volunteers; experience of coordinating research projects, including use of data to report, inform and develop decision making across an organisation and be experienced in running events at different scales.

This role is 0.8FTE which equates to 28 hours per week (4 days a week) over 52 weeks per year, however we are willing to be flexible for the right candidate upon an offer being made. Please note any offer made to a candidate for this role will be at the starting point of the salary grade only.
