Are you an experienced administrator with an understanding of, and interest in, working within a diverse international environment?

Joining the busy administration team within the School of Anthropology and Conservation at the University, you will provide a first class clerical support service to members of the school.

You will be adept at thinking on your feet, working pro-actively and putting to use your strong customer service and IT skills. Within this role, you will work alongside the Receptionist & Clerical Assistant to ensure day-to-date administration tasks are carried out in a timely fashion.

As Administrative Assistant you will:

  • Provide efficient and highly effective administration support to the School.
  • Manage the diary of the Head of School and School Administration Manager
  • Arrange events and travel bookings.
  • Prepare correspondence to send to internal stakeholders, external visitors and guests.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A level or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience of working in a high-level secretarial or clerical role where excellent communication skills are essential
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Ability to set up and maintain efficient and effective administrative processes and filing systems
