Applications are invited for the post of PMO Manager in the Estates Department.

The Estates department is in the process of developing the College’s historic landscape in order to provide a 21stcentury campus that meets the needs of the people studying and working here.  This has led to the department working at a scale and pace that is has never experienced before and the administrative function of the department is critical to its success. Applications are invited for the post of PMO Manager.

The post holder will be responsible for a Project Management Office function for the Estates Department to manage capital project reporting and governance, supporting the Head of Projects as well as the Director and Deputy Director of Estates.  She/he will work closely with the Director of Estates, Principal, Deputy Principal and other senior managers to ensure effective governance and reporting in planning and delivering the Estates Capital Programme, and projects emanating from the recurrent Cyclical Maintenance and Small Works and other Programme Boards and committees.

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience of working as a PMO officer or senior administrative officer in a similar environment and will be proactive with excellent organizational skills. They will have strong communication skills with excellent written English to prepare reports and papers to be submitted to a senior level within the College. They will be very familiar with project governance processes and project management concepts. Further essential skills include an ability to build strong relationships with members of the College Executive whilst taking on a pivotal role within a busy capital projects team.
