Working as a key member of the Exams Team, this dynamic and varied role offers an opportunity to assist with the planning and organisation of the assessments for our medicine programme (MBBS4 Year 1 and Transition Year) and BSc programmes.
The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing all invigilator requirements for all examinations, as well as assisting with the preparation of written and practical examinations. The role involves maintaining accurate candidate lists for each year group and liaising with a wide range of staff for the day to day running of the department, as well as maintaining a close working relationship with colleagues overseas on a daily basis.
To be successful in this role, you must have good numerical, administrative and organisational skills. Strong IT skills, experience of using MS Office and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) are essential.
We are looking for a dynamic and independent individual, able to work on his or her own initiative. You should have extensive experience in an autonomous administrative role and of working with complex administrative systems/processes.
The salary for this post is within the range of SGUL 4: £21,585 to £24,983, plus £3,027 London Allowance.
