This post will be Fixed Term Contract for 2 years
The School of Population Sciences and Health Services Research wishes to recruit a full-time Administrator to join the NIHR Research Design Service (RDS) London team. The successful applicant will be based at the King’s College London coordinating centre and support the effective and efficient delivery of the Service across London. The post holder will be the main point of contact for all enquiries and will coordinate support for researchers using a web-based database. The role demands a high level of client care, dealing with queries in a professional manner and ensuring that the experience of each client is positive and satisfactory. RDS London also delivers its service through clinics, drop-in sessions and workshops across the capital. The administrator will assist the Communications Manager in arranging these events at King’s College and its partner institutions. Excellent organisational skills and an ability to work effectively within a team are essential. The successful applicant will also need to be able to engage with researchers from a variety of backgrounds, being a helpful source of information on the capabilities of RDS London. RDS maintains databases for requests, contact lists for mailings and notification of events and carries out satisfaction surveys. The post holder will need excellent all-round knowledge of IT and be able to present information accurately and appropriately.
