The Division of Nursing at City, University of London, is one of London’s long-established providers of health care education and delivers high quality undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. It has a strong core of experienced academics who lead a broad programme of world-leading research in child health and partnership working with children and their families; mental health care across the life span; people with physical health and long-term conditions; acute and critical care; and care of the older person. The Division works in partnership with service users and carers alongside health and social care experts and providers to develop and deliver education and research which shapes future nurse leaders.
ResponsibilitiesThis is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding academic to join the established Child Health team. The successful candidate will be registered as a children’s nurse with the Nursing Midwifery Council, will have published world-leading or internationally excellent research and will demonstrate excellence in education. They will be enthusiastic and inspiring and will lead and enhance student nurse education on long-term conditions and care closer to home. They will work closely with practice partners to enable and enhance student learning and will be supported by the relevant research centre to develop their research.
