Summary of Responsibilities:
The Outbound Sales Officer will work as part of a wider contact centre and sales team selling the College’s portfolio by calling prospective or existing customers. You will be set targets to achieve which support the College’s recruitment and commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with employers via telephone and organise campaigns, to generate new business and promote our training offer.
Generate leads and schedule appointments for the Business Development Team to attend.
This is a targeted role, and as such you will be measured on activity, output for quality employer leads and vacancy generation.
Promote the benefits to employers of undertaking training – overcoming barriers and giving advice and guidance to the most suitable avenue.
Cross sell other products, seizing all opportunities to offer clients a well-rounded service.
Keep up-to-date with current market and target industries through research, and support marketing campaigns / activities to help drive sales
At all times demonstrate the ability to handle calls in a professional manner, and provide an excellent customer experience.
Essential Criteria:
Must have experience of working within a business to business Telesales role
Experience of working towards and achieving targets.
Ability to overcome objections
Excellent communication, administrative and organisational skills
Confident, friendly and professional manner
