The Department of Business and Law has an outstanding reputation for teaching and student satisfaction. In particular, our BA (hons) in Strategic Tourism and Hospitality was rated number 2 in the UK by the Guardian newspaper. We are firmly focused on preparing students for successful careers, in the context of industry’s current and future demands.
We require a new full time, permanent Course Leader with expertise in Law. Post holders will be at the forefront of working with teams to create programmes that are innovative, produce assignments that challenge and stretch students at all levels and promote other programmes for an increase with internal and external progression. They will meet regularly with students through forums; respond to the needs of the improvement plan actions and work with their Heads to shape areas for the future prosperity of the organisation.
Applicants should have a minimum of a Master’s Degree or equivalent industrial experience in law, and considerable experience of teaching in Higher Education and evidence of course leadership. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter and able to communicate with students, tutors and academia at all levels.
