The salary will be paid at Grade 6, £ 33,518 to £39,992 per annum, plus £2,923 per annum London Allowance.

This post will be Indefinite

The Instructional Designer will play a key role within the Instructional Design & Development team at King’s Online – the unit within King’s College London responsible for creating high quality online and blended-learning programmes.

The chosen candidate will work with faculty members and academics in a collaborative, consultative fashion, facilitating effective course design, content generation and course development.

He/she will apply their experience of instructional design principles and adult learning theory to design distance learning courses of genuine quality – programmes which are engaging and creative, innovative and pedagogically sound – for both computer and mobile learning environments.

This role will be based at the university’s Strand Campus in Central London.

The selection process will include competency based questions, an assessment and a panel interview.
