A significant part of the role will be managing and where possible automating IT processes ensuring quality of service coupled with high availability.  Occasionally the role will require to get involved in additional technology or process activities. The role holder will be expected to research, plan and implement services building in integration and automation where possible to meet and enhance business goals.  Other responsibilities will include working with internal business partners to gather requirements, prototyping, architecting, implementing and updating solutions, building and executing test plans, performing quality reviews, managing operations and resolving operational issues.

The successful candidate will be educated to a first degree or postgraduate degree level or have significant relevant work experience. Industry standard technical accreditations such as Cisco networking, MSCE or MSCA or ITIL Foundation are highly desirable. Experience with scripting frameworks, JavaScript, AngularJS and SQL/MySQL database administration is essential. High level Linux and Windows server skills, Microsoft Office 365 tenancy management skills and experience with software development cycles and web application development environments are prerequisite for this role.
