The Department of Biostatistics and Health Informatics is recruiting a Professor of Medical Statistics and Trials Methodology to provide leadership in methodological innovation, statistical collaboration and to contribute to the development of the teaching programme of the Department. 

The candidate will be an expert in trials methodology and processes of trials implementation, have demonstrable leadership qualities with strong achievement orientation and an international profile as evidenced by sustained research outputs, publications in scientific journals etc. Experience of successfully supervising Masters and/or PhD students to completion is essential as is previous experience of delivering teaching on methodology to Postgraduate and/or Undergraduate students.  The selection process will include a presentation and a panel interview.  The salary will be competitive and dependent on qualifications and experience, plus £2,923 per annum London Allowance.
