Part-time Counsellor (2 posts)

We are looking to recruit two part-time clinicians to join our current team of counsellors, where the two core models are psychodynamic and cognitive behavioural therapy.

You will be required to provide individual sessions, predominantly working within a brief model, to students with psychological and emotional problems.

We are seeking to recruit individuals who display a flexible approach with excellent planning, communication and organisational skills and who will be willing to take an active role in the development of the service.  You will have an expert knowledge of best counselling practice and be capable of working in a complex and challenging environment. 

Please note there are two part-time posts available. One is offered as a 3 day a week term-time only contract working three, 10 week terms (0.40 FTE), and the other working 3 days a week on a year-round basis (0.6 FTE). Applicants must have British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy Individual Counsellor Accreditation / UKCP Registration or equivalent body. In the case of a psychologist, qualified as a clinical or counselling psychologist and eligible for chartering by BPS and have extensive post qualification experience.
