Working Time: Approximately 3 hours per week during term time

Are you a current University of Leeds undergraduate or postgraduate student with a passion for football? Are you interested in promoting and developing programmes to increase participation in football across specific target groups?

You will support our vision of being the sector leader for student experience in sport and physical activity by impacting on our social football offer and community outreach work.  This position is jointly funded by the University, British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) and West Riding County Football Association. You will gain valuable experience supporting projects which raise awareness of football and improving access and entry points within the University and the wider community football landscape.

You will support the organisation and coordination of our leagues, ‘just play’ sessions and community coaching to deliver and maintain high standards for participants. You will have excellent communication and organisation skills with an eye for detail. You will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

You will be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business, which may include evening and weekend work when appropriate, and working variable hours to meet the needs of the service (hours will be approximately 3 hours per week during term time).
