The Division of Midwifery and Radiography within the School of Health Sciences delivers an extensive range of high-quality undergraduate, postgraduate taught and research degrees. Its research is multidisciplinary and draws upon a range of approaches to provide rigorous evidence to inform healthcare, policy and practice. ResponsibilitiesThis is an exceptional opportunity for an outstanding academic in Midwifery or Radiography to develop their academic career and assume a leadership role within the School. The Senior Lectureship is permanent and appointment as Divisional Lead will be for three years initially.Person Specification
The successful candidate will have a strong background and experience in Radiography or Midwifery practice and will have published world-leading or internationally excellent research. He or she will possess excellent communication and leadership skills and the drive to ensure that programmes and modules deliver inspiring teaching, learning and assessment, resulting in an excellent student experience. The appointed candidate will lead, grow and develop a diverse team of academic staff with expertise in both clinical research and practice and will contribute to the operational and strategic direction of the School.
The role of Divisional Lead attracts an additional responsibility allowance of £11,817 per annum.Additional Information
