Are you a Clinical or Methodological Researcher with a drive to develop a prestigious, International, competitive research portfolio with a passion for working with multidisciplinary specialists to improve outcomes for Yorkshire Cancer patients? Are you tomorrow’s cancer research leader? If so, we have the ideal opportunity for you.
You will join the Yorkshire Cancer Research (YCR) Fellowship platform which is acollaboration between Yorkshire Cancer Research and the University of LeedsUniversity’s Academic Fellowship scheme where you will develop and lead a portfolio of research in in several broad areas including: Diagnosis in Primary care, Living with and beyond Cancer in Yorkshire, Supporting patient choices and transitions in care and Evaluation of novel therapies in clinical trials, including radiotherapy. We are particularly looking for researchers in health informatics and clinical trial methodology to broaden the expertise in the Fellowship platform which also aligns to the strategic need of YCR (Please see further information document).
We are looking to recruit highly motivated individuals with excellent research profiles who are capable of developing and leading innovative research projects. You will embark on a structured five year development programme where the successful achievement of which will lead to an appointment as an Associate Professor/Associate Clinical Professor (with honorary consultant contract.)
You will be clinically or non-clinically qualified from a broad range of clinical and methodological disciplines, applications from health economists or health informatics are particularly encouraged.
