Our Library staff play a major role in delivering a world-class study environment for University students, staff, and the general public. We aim to deliver a consistently high standard of services across our 5 Library sites: the Western Bank Library, the Diamond, the Information Commons and the two sites of the Health Sciences Library.
Reporting to the Library’s Head of Communications, you will work closely with a range of colleagues within the Library, in Corporate Communications and more broadly across the University, ensuring alignment of communications activity with University strategies and best practice.
You will contribute to the outputs of a small team responsible for promoting and communicating all services and facilities provided by the Library to ensure positive engagement and experience amongst students and staff, as well as coordinating the Library’s involvement in University events and outreach activities.
You will be a dynamic and creative digital media professional with demonstrable digital communications experience in building and managing multimedia activity. It is essential that you have real-world experience of digital media production in a creative environment. You will also have the ability to write engaging and compelling copy, tailored to the target audience. Success in this role will be demonstrated through the achievement of objectives and measures of impact.
