A Student Finance Administrative Officer is required to work within our Payments Administration Team based at the Medway Campus, as well as undertaking duties related to all student finance activities across all three sites.
This role will contribute to and support the role of SFFS to provide excellent customer care, deliver high quality administrative services and provide confidential, sympathetic and helpful information and guidance to students and prospective students on matters relating to student finance and financial support. You will also be required to undertake all of the operational activities of the office including attendance at open days, the registration of students; payment reconciliation and all other matters relating to student finance, including duties which promote the effective enhancement, development and monitoring of postgraduate research students tuition fee accounts, the tuition fee records for professional development programmes and related procedures at the University.
Significant experience of working with the public in an environment where good customer care is a guiding principle is an essential requirement. You will also have experience of working in a student finance related environment and of liaising with colleagues in various departments and levels across a large scale organisation; be highly numerate, with good IT Skills; have excellent organisational skills and time management and the ability to supervise staff.
