The School of Materials is the largest in Europe and has specialist research focusing on textiles, paper, design, retailing, management, marketing and fashion along with aerospace, composites, metals, ceramics, biomaterials, polymers.  The diversity of the School allows for an interdisciplinary approach to materials manufacture and design.  

A vacancy has arisen for a Lecturer in Fashion Business to cover maternity leave. You will contribute to teaching and research in the area of Fashion Business.  This contribution could relate to some or all of the following areas: management, retail, marketing, consumer behaviour, fashion product development, buying and merchandising, technology management, supply chain, design management, entrepreneurship, digital marketing, omni-channel, retail, etc.

For this position, it is essential to possess a higher degree/postgraduate qualification or evidence of working towards a postgraduate qualification or significant industrial experience and expertise at management and leadership level within the textile and fashion industries as well as demonstrable evidence of high quality teaching..
