Do you want to develop your research interests and build effective collaborations in the research community? Do you have a clear commitment to creating and delivering an excellent student and patient experience? Do you want to provide excellence in clinical patient delivery?
The primary purpose of this post is to provide a clinical and academic training environment for the Lecturer in Paediatric Dentistry to develop their research portfolio and ultimately establish themselves as an independent researcher together with excellence in their teaching and clinical delivery. The post will equip trainees with the necessary skills, knowledge and experience in Paediatric Dentistry to complete their training to consultant level in Paediatric Dentistry (e.g. Post CCST).
You will possess a PhD or equivalent by the time you take up the post (by 31 March 2018 at the latest). You will need to have completed Pre CCST training and/or be eligible for the specialist list in Paediatric Dentistry as held by the General Dental Council.
You will also need to attend and pass national recruitment benchmarking (which takes place in Birmingham on Thursday 2 November 2017).
The successful applicant must be in post by 31 March 2018.
