Detail information about job Research Associate Position in Seamless and Efficient Wireless Access for Future Radio Networks. Terms and conditions vacancy

We are looking for a highly qualified post-doctoral researcher to undertake research into the fifth generation (5G) of wireless communications systems. This is a joint research project with the Universities of Bristol and Sheffield and will also involve liaising with several industrial sponsors of the project. The researchers will evaluate promising technologies for 5G systems, including the use of heterogeneous and dense small cell deployments to target capacity at areas where it is most needed. The project will also study to new spectrum policies and protocols to make the best use of new radio bands, including millimetre wave spectrum.

This post is full time and fixed term for 6 months. The post is available from October 2017.
