Our activities cover a full spectrum of business disciplines as evidenced through our academic programmes at UG, PGT and PGR. We teach undergraduate, masters and doctoral students, deliver executive education and consultancy and create new knowledge through our research. We are passionate about Making Knowledge Work.

The School of Management has a strong reputation in the area of Human Resource Management, and is seeking to develop this further with the appointment of a Senior Lecturer or Lecturer in the area of Human Resources and, Managerial and Professional Development. The candidate will be expected to lead and contribute to the development and direction of HRM programmes at UG, MSc and MBA levels, as appropriate. We are especially interested in those wishing to develop their knowledge and experience of delivering a digital learning experience on our FT ranked DL MBA programme. The successful individual will be expected to have a research track record at 3* journal level and continue to be research active with some grant capture activity and ambition. The post holder will be expected to work closely with established partners and contribute towards Executive Education where necessary. This role is aligned with the University Strategy that promotes the development of international academic partnerships, developing and expanding commercial links to support our mission, vision and values. Therefore, the ability to persuade, influence, motivate and establish credibility with a wide range of stakeholders is essential.
