We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and experienced lecturer with experience in coach/coach development to join the sports coaching teaching team as part of maternity cover arrangements for the 2017-2018 academic year. Industry experience of supporting and managing the education and development of sports coaches is highly desirable. You will undertake teaching and assessment duties in foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes within the school, and contribute to curriculum development and planning. In addition, you will make a contribution to research and/or knowledge transfer activities. You will be expected to have knowledge in coach development, business and enterprise in sports coaching and coaching pedagogy. It is also anticipated that you will be able to draw upon extensive coaching and coach education and development experiences to enrich teaching and consultancy work.
