Detail information about job Senior Admissions Officer. Terms and conditions vacancy

We are looking for an experienced admissions officer to lead a team in the delivery of the undergraduate admissions process. Duties will include: key aspects of undergraduate admissions administration, principally for applications received through UCAS; the management of a team of admissions staff; agreeing selection criteria with academic colleagues; assessing and making selection decisions on applications against agreed criteria; and preparing documentation to support applicants applying for a visa through the UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) points based immigration system.

We are looking for someone who has extensive experience of admissions in a higher education setting and of leading a team and managing staff. The appointee will have excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and work under pressure. The nature of the post requires an individual with good interpersonal skills who is able to successfully work with staff and other stakeholders at all levels.

Applicants should apply online. To access further details about the position and how to apply please click on the ‘Apply’ button below.

If you have any queries regarding the vacancy or the application process, please contact the Undergraduate Admissions Manager, Alexandra Bull, by email to [email protected] or on +44(0)20 3108 57887.

Closing Date: 19 September 2017

Latest time for the submission of applications: 23:59.

Interview Date: 29 September

We particularly welcome applications from black and minority ethnic candidates as they are under-represented within UCL at this level.

This position does not meet the resident labour market test under UK Visas and Immigration rules and therefore UCL would be unable to obtain the right to work for non-EEA nationals whose employment would require a Tier 2 visa.
