The salary will be paid at Grade 5, £28,098 to £30,688 per annum, plus £2,923 per annum London Allowance.
This post will be Fixed Term Contract for 33 months or until 09/07/2020.
This is a Part -time – 40% Full time equivalent, 2 days (14 hours) per week
The School of Population Sciences and Health Services Research is seeking a Research Assistant to support a Dunhill Medical Trust funded clinical trial, under the leadership of Dr Lindsay Bearne.
The primary purpose of the post is to support the management of a randomised controlled trial investigating a new physiotherapist-delivered treatment aimed at increasing walking in people with Intermittent Claudication (Motivating Structured Walking Activity in people with Intermittent Claudication – MOSAIC trial). The Research Assistant will assist in training and supporting the trial physiotherapists delivering the MOSAIC intervention, process and qualitative evaluation. The post holder will join a vibrant team of active health service researchers and be encouraged to support funding applications
To be considered for this post a first degree in health or social sciences and Master's degree in a relevant subject are essential.
The post holder will be based on Guys’ Campus.
