This will involve appropriate provision of administrative support for one-off or annual events organised by Professor Eve and the Centre for Technology and Publishing.

A core part of the role is to investigate and solve financial queries, maintain an oversight of financial records to ensure budgetary compliance for the PI’s grants and Centre activities, including the approval of financial expenditure within agreed limits. The role will also involve handling correspondence and diary scheduling, including travel arrangements and expense reimbursement, pertaining to the Open Library of Humanities and Birkbeck on behalf of the PI.

The administrator may also be asked to handle invoicing, institutional renewals, and financial record keeping for the Open Library of Humanities; to undertake proofreading and appropriate formatting tasks on academic and non-academic documents; and to attend meetings and take/write-up minutes.

You will be experienced in providing high quality customer service and will possess strong communication, organisational and IT skills.
