Our main campuses in the cities of Cambridge, Chelmsford and Peterborough have been transformed with major capital investment. About the role:

The Global Sustainability Institute (GSI) is a globally renowned research institute. We have won grants from 5 of the UK research councils and currently have several active European projects as well as several research projects with government and business.

These include (but are not limited to) societal and environmental resilience, socio-technical and socio-environmental systems, sustainable consumption including energy, water and food, finance, policy and political systems, and education for sustainability. You’ll bring your own strengths and research focus to the GSI and be expected to apply for external income.

With a PhD or Professional Doctorate or near completion, you’ll have excellent advocacy and interpersonal skills, as well as a track record initiating or contributing to collaborative projects. You’ll also have research experience undertaken in a relevant field as well as experience of writing concise but comprehensive reports/papers.

It is expected that interviews will take place on Wednesday 4 October 2017.
